٤٠٠٦ - الشيخ أبو بكر محمد بن حسن بن عبد الله بن مذحج الزُّبَيدي الإشبيلي النحوي (٢)، المتوفى في جمادى الأولى سنة ثمان وثلاثملائة عن ... أخذ العربية عن أبي علي القالي وغيره وأدّب المستنصر بالله وولي قضاء قرطبة وصنَّف "مختصر العين" و"أبنية كتاب سيبويه" و"الموضح" و"ما يلحن فيه عوام الأندلس" و"طبقات النحاة". وكان أوحد عصره في علم النحو وحفظ الفقه، روى عنه [ابنه] أبو الوليد محمد والإفليلي وغيرهما، ونسب إلى زُبيد بن صعب بن سعد العشيرة. ذكره السيوطي.
