٣٩١٩ - الشيخ الأديب محمد بن أحمد الحُتَاتي المصري (١)، المتوفى سنة [إحدى وخمسين وألف]. قال الشهاب: أديب فاضل، جمّ المناقب، إن كان الأدب روضًا فهو نوّاره، أو الفضل يدًا وساعدًا فهو سواره، وله في الطب يد كثيرة الأيادي وطبع معتدل العناصر والمبادئ وبدائع مجربات شهدت لها الأسباب والعلامات ومونق خط مُسند وحديث مجد إلى المعالي مَسند وشعر رقيق (٢) ونثر هو المسك الفتيق. وكان في صباه بمصر ثم اتهم وأنجد وديباجة حاله بالرحيل تتجدد، ولم يزل مغرِّبًا ومُشَرِّقًا حتى اتخذ الرّوم لشمسه أفقًا.
