٣٨٧٠ - الشيخ أبو الحسن محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن خيثمة القَيسي الجَيَّاني النحوي (١)، المتوفى بغرناطة في جمادى الآخرة سنة أربعين وخمسمائة. وكان فقيهًا، حافظًا، متقنًا، فصيحًا، مبرّزًا في علم اللِّسان، مقدّمًا في الكتابة، جامعًا فنون الفضائل. أخذ عن ابن الباذش وأبي علي الغسّاني وعنه [أبو الحسن بن الضحَّاك و] ابنه عبد المنعم وألّف "شرح غريب البخاري". ذكره السيوطي في "النحاة".
