٣٣٥٠ - الشيخ الفاضل عمر بن عبد الوهاب بن إبراهيم بن محمود بن علي بن محمد ابن العُرْضِي الشافعي (٤)، مات في أواخر سنة ١٠٢٤. مفتي حلب شارح "الشفاء" وصاحب "الامية [الشرف وسراج] الغرف". وكان حياً في حدود سنة ألف، وله "حاشية على البيضاوي" إلى آخر الأنعام. قال الشهاب في "الخبايا": لم يزل صدرا للإفادة بحلب وله حديث لقطع الروض ولذة النشوان تتسابق ألفاظه ومعانيه إلى القلوب والأذان حتى لا يدري أيهما السابق في مضمار البيان. وقد ألّف وصنَّف وأفاد. وأما شعره شعر العلماء ونثره نثر الفقهاء.
