٣٣١٣ - الشيخ زين الدين عمر بن أبي الحزم بن عبد الرحمن بن أحمد بن يونس بن الكَتاني الفقيه الأصولي شيخ الشافعية بمصر (٢)، المتوفى بها في رمضان سنة ثمان وثلاثين وسبعمائة، عن خمس وثمانين سنة. قرأ الأصول على البرهان المراغي وأقام بدمشق مدة، ثم انتقل إلى مصر وولي قضاء المحلة، ثم إلى القاهرة معزولاً ودرّس الحديث بالمنصورية وشاع اسمه وكتب على "الروضة" "حواشي لمناقشة النّووي. ذكره السبكي.
