٣٢٨٠ - الشيخ العالم الزاهد علي النَّبْتِيتي الضرير (١)، المتوفى في يوم عرفة سنة سبع وعشرين وتسعمائة. قال الشعراني في "ذيله": كان على قدر عظيم في العلم والعمل، جبلاً في العلوم الظَّاهرة والباطنة والأخلاق المرضية وعلّمني ميزاناً في العقائد وهو أنها كلها ترجع إلى الإطلاق والتقييد، أي التنّزيه والتّشبيه وميزاناً في الشريعة وهو أنها كلها ترجع إلى تخفيف وتشديد، وأن جميع أقوال العلماء إليهما. وكان أقام بناحية نبتيت والناس يقصدونه للاستفتاء والتبرك من الآفاق (٢).
