٣٢٧٩ - الشيخ العارف بالله علاء الدين علي الكَازواني (٤)، المتوفى بمكة سنة [خمس وخمسين وتسعمائة]. اشتغل بخدمة الشيخ السيد علي بن ميمون المغربي، وسافر معه أياماً في نواحي حماة، وكانت الأُسد كثيرة فيها، فتعرض لهم أَسَدٌ فتقدم الكازواني إليه فغاب، فغضب الشيخ على الكازواني لأن إظهار الكرامة عنده من أكبر المعاصي فطرده من خدمته. ثم إنه أراد أن يرجع خلفاء الشيخ المذكور فلم يقبلوه، ثم قبله الشيخ علوان وربّاه وقال إن أحداً لا يُرَدُّ من باب الله وإنما رَدّه الشيخ لتأديبه، ثم أتى إلى الرّوم وحَجَّ وجاور حتى مات وبنيت على قبره قُبَّة يُزار بها.
