٣٢٧١ - الشيخ أبو الحسن علي بن يوسف بن عبد الله بن يوسف الشافعي (٣)، المتوفى في ذي القعدة سنة ثلاث وستين وأربعمائة وهو عم إمام الحرمين: رحل في طلب العلم وسمع الكثير، وعُقد له مجلس إملاء بخراسان. صثف كتاباً حسناً في التصوف سمّاه "كتاب السلوة" وسمع أبا عبد الرحمن السلمي، وروى عنه الإمام محمد بن الفضل العراوي، وزاهر ووجيه ابنا طاهر الشّحامي. وكان يُعرف بشيخ الحجاز، [وكان] صوفياً ظريفاً. ذكره السبكي.
