٣٢٢٧ - الشيخ الإمام المعروف بالنّور علي بن محمد الأَشْموني الشافعي (٢)، المتوفى سنة .... قرأ وحصّل وشرح "الألفية" وقطعة من "التسهيل" ونظم "جمع الجوامع" و"مجموع الكلائي" و"ايساغوجي" وعلّق "حاشية على الأنوار" في الفقه. وهو ممن ردّ على البِقَاعي انتقاده قول الغَزالي: ليس في الإمكان. وراج أمره في نواحيه يعني قناطر السباع، ورجح على الجلال السيوطي مع اشتراكهما في الحمق، غير أن ذلك أرجح. كذا قال السخاوي في "الضوء اللامع".
