٣١٦٩ - القاضي أبو القاسم علي بن محمد بن داود بن إبراهيم التَّنُوخي الحنفي (٦)، المتوفى بالبصرة سنة سبع وأربعين وثلاثمائة وله ....تفقّه وولي القضاء بعدة بلدان وكان حافظاً للشعر ذكياً وله عروض بديع، وكان بصيراً بعلم النجوم، قرأ على الكِسَائي المنجم وكان في الفقه والفرائض والشروط غاية وفي الهيئة قدوة. ذكره الثعالبي في "اليتيمة" وبالغ في مدحه وقال: وكان مع ذلك يحفظ أكثر من عشرين ألف حديث ولولا أن حفظه تفرّق في علوم لكان امرأ هائلاً. ذكره تقي الدين.
