٣٠٥٣ - مُهَذَّب الدين أبو الحسن علي بن سعد بن علي بن عبد الواحد بن عبد القاهر بن أحمد بن مُسْهِر الموصلي الشاعر (٥)، المتوفى في صفر سنة ثلاث وأربعين وخمسمائة. وكان شاعرًا بارعاً مقدَّماً، تنقل في أكثر ولايات الموصل، ومدح الخلفاء والملوك، و"ديوان" شعره في مجلدين وذكر فيه أنه ولد بآمد. ومن محاسن شعره: استغفرُ الله في نظمِ القريض فقد ... أقلعتُ عنه فمالي فيه مِنْ إربِ إذا صَدَقْتُ بهجو الناس خِفْتُهُمُ ... وإنْ مَدَحْتُ خَشِيتُ الله مِنْ كَذِبِ ذكره ابن خلكان.
