٣٠٤٣ - القاضي علاء الدين علي بن خلف بن كامل بن عطاء الله الغزّي الشافعي (٥)، المتوفى بغزّة في ربيع الآخر سنة اثنتين وتسعين وسبعمائة وله ثمانون سنة. اشتغل بدمشق وسمع من ابن الشّحنة وخلق، واختصر "تاريخ الإسلام" (٦) في نحو عشر مجلدات وولي قضاء غزة ثم عزل ومات. ذكره ابن أبي شريف.
