٢٩٦٠ - أبو الحسن علي بن أحمد بن إبراهيم البُوشنجي الصُّوفي الشافعي (٣)، المتوفى بنيسابور سنة سبع وأربعين وثلاثمائة. كان زاهدًا، عالمًا، صحب أبا عثمان الحبري بنيسابور مدة، ثم خرج فلقي شيوخ التصوف بالعراقين والشام، وسمع الحديث من أبي جعفر الشامي وغيره.قال الحاكم: عن أبي سعيد بن أبي بكر بن أبي عثمان إن البوشنجي ورد على أبي عثمان فسئل أن يقرأ في مجلسه، فقرأ، فبكى أبو عثمان حتى غُشي عليه وحمل إلى منزله وتوفي، فكان يقال قتله صوت البوشنجي (١). ذكره السبكي.
