٢٧٩٧ - الأمير أبو أحمد عبد الوهاب بن علي بن علي ابن سُكَينة البغدادي الشافعي (٢)، المتوفى ببغداد في ٩ ربيع الآخر سنة سبع وستمائة عن [ثمان وثمانين سنة]. وكان شيخ وقته في علو الإسناد والزّهد والعبادة. قرأ الفقه والخلاف على أبي منصور الرزّاز والأدب على ابن الخَشَّاب وتخرّج في الحديث بابن ناصر وسمع من زاهر بن طاهر وأبي بكر محمد بن عبد الباقي وخلق، وصحب الحافظين ابن شاكر وابن السمعاني واستفاد [منهما] ومدَّ الله تعالى له في العمر حتى قُصد من الجهات، وكان كثير الحجّ والعمرة والمجاورة بمكة. روى عنه الحافظ أبو بكر الحارثيّ وابن النجّار وغيرهما. ذكره السبكي.
