٢٧٥٠ - أبو سعيد عبد الملك بن قُريب بن عبد الملك بن علي بن أصمع الباهليّ الأصمعي البصري اللغوي (١٠). أحد أئمة اللغة والغريب والأخبار والنوادر، المتوفى سنة ست عشرةومائتين، عن ثمان وثمانين سنة. روى عن أبي عمرو بن العلاء وحَمّاد بن سلمة وخلق وكان بخيلًا ويجمع أحاديث البخلاء وصنّف كتبًا منها "خلق الإنسان" و"كتاب الأجناس" في أصول الفقه، و"كتاب الأنواء" و"كتاب الهمز" و"كتاب المقصور والممدود" و"كتاب الصِّفات" و"كتاب خَلق الفرس" و"الإبل" و"الخيل" و"الشاء" و"الميسر والقِدَاح" و"الأمثال" و"فعل وأفعل" و"الاشتقاق" و"ما اتفق لفظه واختلف معناه" وغير ذلك. ذكره السيوطي.
