٢٦٩٠ - الشيخ أبو بكر عبد القاهر بن عبد الرحمن الجُرْجَاني النحوي المتكلم الشافعي (٢)، المتوفى سنة إحدى وسبعين وأربعمائة وقيل أربع وسبعين. أخذ النحو بجُرجان عن أبي الحسين محمد بن الحسن الفارسي ابن أخت أبي علي الفارسي، ولم يخرج من بلده، وكان إمامًا في الأدب وصنَّف "المغني في شرح الإيضاح" في نحو ثلاثين مجلدًا و"المقتصد" في شرحه أيضًا في ثلاث مجلدات و"إعجاز القرآن" و"دلائل الإعجاز" (٣) و"أسرار البلاغة" و"كتاب المفتاح" و"شرح الفاتحة" و"الجُمل" المشهور. وكان من كبار أئمة العربية (٤). ذكره السبكي.
