٢٦٦٣ - الإمام الأديب أبو الحسن عبد الغافر بن إسماعيل بن عبد الغافر بن محمد بن عبد الغافر الفارسي الشافعي (٤)، المتوفى بنيسابور سنة تسع وعشرين وخمسمائة، عن ثمان وسبعين سنة. وهو حفيد عبد الغافر المقدّم سبط الإمام القشيري وجدته السيدة فاطمة بنت الأستاذ أبي علي الدَّقَّاق ومصنِّف "ذيل تاريخ نيسابور" المسمى بـ "السياق" و"كتاب مجمع الغرائب" و"كتاب المفهم لشرح غريب مسلم" وغير ذلك، وخطيب نيسابور وإمامها وفردها المشهور، المحدّث ابن المحدِّث، حدث عنه ابن عساكر وأبو العلاء الهمداني وأبو سعد بن السمعاني. ذكره السبكي.
