٢٥٢٤ - مجد الدين أبو المجد عبد الرحمن بن عمر بن أحمد بن هبة الله ابن العَديم الحلبي الحنفي، الشهير بابن الصَّاحب (١)، المتوفى بدمشق في ربيع الآخر سنة سبع وسبعين وستمائة وله ثلاث وستون سنة. وكان من بيت مشهور بالعلم والرياسة. اشتغل وبرع في فنون ونظم الشعر الحسن ودرس وخطب، ولما استولى التتر على حلب رحل إلى مصر وتولى الخطابة ثم ولي قضاء الشام سنة ٦٧٣ وكان بارعًا في المذهب أديبًا متقدمًا عند الناصر وكان هو وأبوه لا يتعدى أحد فوقهما في المحافل. ذكره تقي الدين.
