٢٤٥٢ - القاضي أبو الحسن عبد الجبَّار بن أحمد بن عبد الجبَّار بن أحمد بن الخليل بن عبد الله الأسد آبادي الهمداني الشافعي (٤)، شيخ المعتزلة، المتوفى بالرِّي في ذي القعدة سنة خمس عشرة وأربعمائة عن ... سمع عبد الرحمن بن حمدان وعبد الله بن جعفر الأصفهاني. وروى عنه عبد السلام بن محمد القزويني وأبو عبد الله الصّيمري وأبو القاسم التّنُوخي. وولي قضاء القضاة بالرَّيّ. وله التصانيف المشهورة والذكر الشائع بين الأصوليين. وكان قد عمِّرَ العمر الطويل، حتى ظهر له الأصحاب.
