٢٤٠٥ - أبو عبد الله عبد الله بن مَسْعُود الهُذَلي (١)، من أعلام الصحابة، صاحب سر رسول الله، المتوفى بالمدينة سنة ٣٢ اثنتين وثلاثين. أسلم قديمًا وهاجر الهجرتين وصلى إلى القِبْلَتين، شهد بدرًا وما بعدها وكان شبه النبي ﵇ في سمته. ولي قضاء الكوفة وبيتَ مالها لعمرَ وصدرًا من خلافة عثمان، ثم رجع إلى المدينة ومات بها، فصلى عليه عبد الله بن الزُّبير بوصيةٍ منه ودفن بالبقيع وخلّف شيئًا كثيرًا.
