٢٣٨٢ - أبو إسمعيل عبد الله بن محمد [بن علي بن محمد] بن مَتٍّ، المعروف بشيخ الإسلام الأنصاري الهَرَوي الشافعي (٤)، المتوفى بها سنة إحدى وثمانين وأربعمائة، عن ست وثمانين سنة وكان من ذُرِّيَّةِ أبي أيوب الأنصاري. قرأ وحَصَّل العلوم، ثم سلك مسلك التصوف وأخذ الطريقة عن أبي الحسن الخرقاني وصنَّف "ذمَّ الكلاد" و"مقامات السائرين" و"تفسير القرآن الكريم" على اصطلاح التصوف. روى عنه ربيبه أبو الوقت عبد الأول [بن عيسى السّجْزي].
