٢٣٥٨ - الإمام الحافظ أبو بكر عبد الله بن محمد بن زياد النيسابوري الشافعي (٢)، المتوفى في ربيع الآخر سنة أربع وعشرين وثلاثمائة، عن إحدى وأربعين سنة. روى عن المُزَني والزّعْفَرَاني وأبي زُرْعَة الرَّازي وعنه ابن عقدة والدارقطني وخلق. قال الحاكم: كان إمام عصره من الشافعية بالعراق ومن أحفظ الناس للفقهيات وجمع بين الفقه والحديث وله "زيادات كتاب المُزَني". ذكره السبكي.
