٢٠٨٨ - الأمير سيف الدين صُيُرْغُتْمُش النَّاصري الحنفي (٧)، المتوفى قتيلاً بالقاهرة في ٢٠ رمضان سنة تسع وخمسين وسبعمائة وله ....كتب وقرأ وعمَّر المدرسة [الصرغتمشية] المعروفة بالقاهرة وبالغ في زخرفتها، وكان يتعصب لمذهبه ويقرأ القرآن على المشايخ وانفرد بتدبير الملك وكان جميل الصورة ويؤثر الفضلاء ويقربهم وعمر الأوقاف ونال جاهاً عريضاً، ثم استردت ما وهبته الدنيا وأخذ الناصر حسن من أمواله وحواصله شيئاً يعجز الوصف عنه، ثم قتله وكان آخر العهد به. ذكره تقي الدين.
