٢٠٦٥ - شيركوه بن [ناصر الدين] محمد [الملك المجاهد (١)، صار ملك حمص بعد أبيه وعمره اثنتي عشرة سنة. فلما نزل صلاح الدين بحمص عوده من حران أخذ أكثر ما خلف [أبوه] القاهر ولم يترك إلا ما لا خير فيه. وتوفي المجاهد سنة ٦٣٧ وكانت مدة ملكه نحو ست وخمسين سنة، وكان من أحسن الملوك سيرة، طهر بلاده من الخمور والمكوس، وهي في غاية الأمن، وملك حمص بعده ولده الملك المنصور إبراهيم].
