١٩١٢ - أبو عبد الله سلمان بن عبد الله بن محمد الفتى بن أبي طالب الحلواني النحوي (٦)، المتوفى في صفر سنة ثلاث وتسعين وأربعمائة. كان من أهل النَّهْرَوان. قرأ ببغداد على الثمانيني وغيره. واللغة على الحسن بن الدهّان وبَرَعَ في النحو وكان إمامًا فيه وفي الفقه. سمع الحديث من أبي الطّيب الطبري وجال في العراق واستوطن أصفهان وصنّف "التفسير" و"علل القراءات"، و"القانون في اللغة" عشرة مجلدات [لم يصنّف مثله] و"شرح الإيضاح"، و"شرح ديوان المتنبي"، و"الأمالي" وغير ذلك. ذكره السيوطي.
