١٧٧٢ - [أبو يحيى] زكريا بن إبراهيم بن محمد المعتصم [بالله، العباسي (٦)، لما مات الواثق بالله في شوال سنة ٧٨٨ أحضر السلطان [الظاهر سيف الدين] برقوق أبا يحيى زكريا بن إبراهيمالعباسي فبايعه ولقبه المعتصم بالله واستمر إلى أن خرج الأتابك يلبغا نائب حلب على الظاهر بسبب ما غدر في حق المتوكل وتبعه خلق، فأشار عليه أكابر الدولة بتلافي أمر المتوكل ففعل وعزل المعتصم ولزم داره إلى أن مات وذلك سنة ٧٩١].
