١٧٦٥ - أبو عبد الله زبير بن أحمد بن سليمان بن عبد الله بن عاصم بن المنذر بن الزُّبير بن العَوّام الأسدي الزُهْري الشافعي (٥)، المتوفى سنة سبع عشرة وثلاثمائة. هو الإمام المشهور من أهل البصرة، وسمى من بعض الناس أحمد بن سليمان والمشهور ما ذكرناه.كان حافظًا للمذهب، أديبًا، خبيرًا بالإنساب وكان ضريرًا. ومن مصنّفاته "كتاب التنبيه" و"كتاب ستر العورة" و"كتاب الهداية" و"كتاب الإستشارة والإستخارة" و"كتاب رياضة المتعلم" و"كتاب الإمارة" و"كتاب الكافي في المذهب" وهو مختصر "نحو التنبيه".
