١٧٤٦ - رُكانَة بن عبد يزيد بن هاشم بن [عبد] المطلب بن عبد مناف (٤)، المتوفى سنة اثنتين وأربعين. أسلم يوم الفتح وصارع النبي ﵇ في بعض شعاب مكَّة، فصرعه النبي ﵇ ثلاثًا وكان من أشد الناس مصارعة. قال عبد الغني: هذا أمثل ما روي في مصارعته. ذكره البرهان الحلبي. ورُكانة: بالضم مخففًا.
