١٦٨٣ - الملك الناصر أبو المفاخر داود بن عيسى بن أبي بكر بن أيوب بن شادي ابن مروان الحنفي (٣)، المتوفى بدمشق في جمادى الأولى سنة ست وخمسين وستمائة وله ثلاث وخمسون سنة. كان فقيهاً، أديباً واسع النَّفْس، محباً للعلماء وله أشعار ومنظومات. ولما مات أوصى بالملك لولده شهاب الدين غازي. ذكره تقي الدين. وقال الذهبي: كان فاضلاً، مناظراً، ذكياً، بديع النظم، كثير المحاسن، أجاز له المؤيد الطُّوسي وسمع ببغداد من القَطيعي.
