١٦٧٦ - داود بن إيشا [هو ابن عَوْبَد بوزن جعفر، بمهملة وموحدة، ابن باعر، موحدة ومهملة مفتوحة، ابن سلمون بن يحشون بن عمي بن ياب، بتحتية وآخره موحدة، ابن رام بن حضروت، بمهملة ثم معجمة، ابن فارص، بفاء واحدة وصاد مهملة، ابن يهوذا ابن يعقوب. في الترمذي أنه كان أعبد البشر. قيل: كان أحمر الوجه سبط الرأس، أبيض الجسم، طويل اللحية فيها جعودة، حسن الصوت والخلق، وجمع له النبوة والملك. عاش مائة سنة، مدة ملكه منها أربعون سنة. وكان له اثنا عشر ابناً] (١).
