١٥٠٦ - حسين بن محمد بن عبد الوهاب، المعروف بالبارع الدبَّاس البَكْري النحوي (١)، المتوفى في جمادى الآخرة سنة أربع وعشرين وخمسمائة، عن إحدى وثمانين سنة. قال الصفدي: كان نحوياً، لغوياً، مقرئاً، حسن المعرفة بصنوف الأدب وهو من بيت الوزارة وبينه وبين ابن الهبَّارية مداعبات وصنَّف في القراءات. روى عنه ابن عساكر (٢) وابن الجوزي وقرأ القرآن على أبي علي بن البَنَّا وغيره وسمع من القاضي أبي يعلى وغيره وكان أديباً فاضلاً.
