١٣٩٨ - عزّ الدين حسن بن محمد بن أحمد بن نحا الأرْبَلي النحوي الضّرير الفيلسوف (٥)، المتوفى في ربيع الآخر سنة ستين وستمائة، عن أربع وسبعين سنة. قال الذهبي: كان بارعاً في العربية والأدب، رأساً في علوم الأوائل وكان في منزله بدمشق يقرئ المسلمين وأهل الكتاب والفلاسفة وله حُرمة وافرة، إلا أنه كان قذراً قبيح الشكل، ابتلي بالعمى بقروح. وله شعر، خبيث الهجو وكان ذكياً، جيد الذهن والنظم، حسن المحاضرة. روى عنه الدِّمياطي شيئاً من شعره (٦). ذكره السيوطي.
