١٣٦٠ - الشيخ أبو هلال حسن بن عبد الله بن سهل بن سعيد بن يحيى بن مِهْرَان اللغوي العَسْكَري (١)، المتوفى بعد الأربعمائة. أخذ عن أبي أحمد العسكري وصنَّف تفسيراً في خمس مجلدات، وله "كتاب الأوائل " و"كتاب الصناعتين" في النظم والنثر و"كتاب جمهرة الأمثال" و"شرح الحماسة" و"ديوان شعر". وكان عالماً، عفيفاً، عالي الهِمَّة. وكان الغالب عليه الأدب والشعر. روى عنه أبو سعد السَّمَّان. قال ياقوت: ذكر بعضهم أنه ابن أخت أبي أحمد العسكري وله "التلخيص في اللغة"، "من احتكم من الخلفاء إلى القضاه"، "لحن الخاصة"، "نوادر الواحد والجمع"، "الدرهم والدينار". ذكره السيوطي.
