١٢٤٩ - أبو بختيشوع جورجيس بن بختيشوع الجنديسابوري المتطبّب الماهر المسيحي (٣)، المتوفى بعد سنة اثنتين وخمسين ومائة. وكان رئيس الأطباء بجنديسابور ولما مرض المنصور أشخصه إلى بغداد فعالجه وبرئ وكان يتكلم بالفارسية والعربية. وله مصنفات جليلة منها "كتاب الكُنَّاش" كذا في "تاريخ ابن القفطي". وذكر في "عيون الأخبار" أنه جورجيس بن جبريل، خدم بالطب المنصور وكان رفيع المنزلة عنده ونال منه أموالاً جزيلة وولده بختيشوع أيضاً طبيب ماهر و"كُنَّاش جورجيس" مشهور نقله حنين بن إسحق من السرياني إلى العربي. انتهى ملخصاً.
