١٢٤٢ - أبو عمرو جميل بن عبد الله بن معمر بن صباح القُضَاعي، الشاعر المشهور (٢)، المتوفى بمصر سنة اثنتين وثمانين. وهو [أحد عشاق العرب]، صاحب بثينة وهي محبوبته عشقها وهو غلام فلما كَبُرَ خطبها فَرُدَّ عنها وقال الشعر فيها وكان يأتيها سراً ومنزلهما بوادي القرى وديوان شعره مشهور. قدم مصر على [أيام] عبد العزيز بن مروان ممتدحاً له، فأحسن جائزته وأمره بالمقام فأقام يسيراً ومات. ذكره ابن خلِّكان.
