١٢٣١ - الشيخ القدوة أبو محمد جعفر بن محمد بن نُصَير الخُلْدي البغدادي المنشأ والمولد الخَوَّاص (٢)، المتوفى بها سنة ثمان وأربعين وثلاثمائة عن .... كان من خيار عباد الله، مرجعاً في علوم القوم، صحب النُّوري ورويماً، ثم اختص بصحبته الجنيد، وكان من تلامذة إبراهيم الخَوَّاص في التصوف، حج قريباً من ستين حجة واشتهر طول باعه في أخبار القوم، حتى صار أحد الثلاثة من عجائب بغداد، أعني قولهم: عجائب بغداد ثلاثة إشارات الشبلي ونكت المرتعش وحكايات جعفر الخُلْدي.
