١٢١٥ - السيد الغازي أبو محمد جعفر بن حسين بن ربيع بن علي بن العباس، المعروف بالبطَّال المطلَبي العلوي الحسيني (٣)، المتوفى غازياً بالروم سنة ١١٣ ثلاث عشرة ومائة. وكان مقدَّم طلائع مسلمة بن عبد الملك، كان صاحب المغازي والفتوحات وله مواقف مشهورة، لكن كذب عليه جهلة القصاص وألفوا كتاباً في سيرته وحكوا عنه ما لا يليق. قاله الذهبي. وفي "العيلم" أن تربته تدعى اليوم بسيدي غازي وعليه مشهد وزاوية يقصدونه للزيارة والتبرك. انتهى
