١١٧٢ - أبو محمد ثابت بن قَيس بن شَمَّاس الَخزْرَجي الأَنْصَاري (٣)، الشهيد باليمامة سنة ثنتي عشرة. كان خطيب الأنصار، جهوري الصوت، شهد له النبي ﵇ بالجنة لما قال: أنا من أهل النار حين نزل قوله تعالى: ﴿ولا تجهروا له بالقول﴾ (٤) فقال ع. م: بل هو من أهل الجنة. وكان أبو بكر ﵁ أمَّره على الأنصار مع خالد بن الوليد يوم اليمامة. من "نوادر الأخبار".
