    ١٠٧٣ - أبو الفتوح بَرْجَوَانْ (٢)، الذي تنسب إليه حارة بَرْجَوان بالقاهرة، المقتول بها في ربيع الآخر سنة تسعين وثلاثمائة. كان أسود من خدام العزيز صاحب مصر ومُدَبِّري دولته، وكان نافذ الأمر مطاعاً، نظر في أيام الحاكم في ديار مصر والحجاز والشام والمغرب وأعمال الحضرة سنة ٣٨٨. ثم أمر الحاكم [بقتله]، ضربه أبو الفضل رَيْدان الصقلبي صاحب المظلة في جوفه بسكين فمات. ذكره ابن خلكان.
