١٠٥٣ - السلطان يلدرم بايزيد بن مُرَاد بن أورخان بن عثمان خَان (٣)، الرابع من السلاطين العثمانية، المتوفى في رابع عشر شعبان سنة خمس وثمان مائة، عن أربع وأربعين سنة. تسلطن بعد شهادة أبيه سنة إحدى وتسعين وسبع مئة ودام يغزو ويفتح البلاد إلى أن وقع بينه وبين تيمور حرب مشهورة فأسر ومات في أسره ودفن ببروسا. وقصته مشهورة في كتب التواريخ.
