١٠٥١ - الأمير الخطير بَايزيد ابن السلطان سليمان بن سليم بن بَايزيد العُثْمَانيّ المتخلّص بشاهي (٥)، المتوفى قتيلاً بقزوين في الحادي والعشرين من ذي القعدة سنة تسع وستين وتسع مئة مع أولاده. وكان شاعراً ذكياً، شجاعاً، كريماً، تغيَّر رأيه لأجل السلطنة وخرج عن طاعة والده وأظهر العقوق، فخرَّب البلاد وأكثر فيها الفساد إلى أن قابله أخوه السلطان سليم بقونية، فانهزم والتجأ إلى طهماسب الصفوي، فأكرمه أولاً ثم لما تطلبه السلطان منه غدر به فخنقه وأرسل جنازته إليه.
