    ١٠٣٢ - إيلخان بن تنكز، التاسع من ملوك الترك في طبقة مغول، وكان معاصراً لتور بن فريدون وكان بينهما حروب إلى أن قتل إيلخان في المعركة وانقرض بموته أبناء أوغوز منذ ألف سنة وانفلت ولده قبان من المعركة وتحصن بموضع يقال له أركنه قون فتمكن به وهو موضع أحاطه الجبل من الجوانب، فبقي نسله هناك ومنه نشأ طائفة مسماة بالقيات، ثم لما كثر أولاده خرجوا على التتار وتغلبوا على ممالك أبيهم. ذكره في "حبيب السير".
