    ٩٥١ - أبو عمرو وقيل أبو عبد الرحمن أسود بن يزيد بن قيس بن عبد الله بن مالك النَّخَعي الكُوفي (٤)، المتوفى سنة خمس وسبعين.كان من أصحاب عبد الله بن مسعود وخال إبراهيم النخعي، رأى أبا بكر وعمر وعثمان وعلياً، وسمع أكابر الصحابة وعنه إبراهيم النخعي وغيره. وكان من التابعين، عابداً زاهداً، حجّ ثمانين حجة. ذكره ابن الأثير في "جامع الأصول".
