٩٣٧ - كمال الدين إسمعيل بن جمال الدين محمد بن عبد الرزاق المعروف بكمال الأصفهاني الشاعر المشهور بخلاق المعاني (٥)، الشهيد بوقعة أصفهان في جمادى الأولى سنة خمس وثلاثين وستمائة. وكان أخوه معين الدين عبد الكريم من أفاضل عصره وهما من بيت علم وفضل بأصبهان وديوانه متداول معتبر وكان متمولاً سخياً وكان له على أكثر أهل بلده حقوق من النقود والأمتعة، فأنكره بعضهم فقال في ذمهم (٦):أي خداوند هفت سياره ... كافري را فرست خونخواره تا [كه] در دشت ما جو دشت كند ... جوى خون آورد به جوباره عدد مردمان بيفزايد ... هر يكى را كند به صد باره (١) فقدم عسكر أوكتاي قان وقتل أهلها قتلاً عاماً.
