٩١٥ - الشيخ الإمام أبو إسحاق إسمعيل بن سعيد الجُرْجَاني، المعروف بالشَّالنجي الحنفي (٤)، المتوفى بدهستان سنة ست وأربعين ومائتين. كان من أصحاب محمد بن الحسن، روى عنه وعن سفيان بن عيينة ويحيى القَطّان، وعنه الضحَّاك والمسعودي، وحدث بأستراباذ وصنَّف في فضائل الأربعة سوى علي ﵁. وله كتاب "البيان" في الفقه وآخر فيه أيضًا وفي غيره وكان ابن حنبل يكاتبه ويثني عليه. ذكره تقي الدين.
