٨٩١ - القاضي مسجد الدين أبو الفداء إسمعيل بن إبراهيم بن محمد (٩٦ / أ- ب) بن علي بن موسى الكناني البلبيسي الحنفي نزيل القاهرة (١)، المتوفى بها في ربيع الأول سنة اثنتين وثمانمائة، عن ثلاث وسبعين سنة. اشتغل على ابن التركماني وابن الفرات وتخرَّج في الحديث بمُغُلْطاي ورافق الجمال الزيلعي في الطلب ومَهَرَ في الشروط وصنَّف في الفرائض والحساب وشرح "التلقين" لأبي البقاء في النحو وصنَّف في الشروط واختصر"الأنساب" للرُّشَاطي وأضاف إليه ما ليس فيه. وكان كثير النظم، جيد الوزن ولي القضاء وله ديوان شعر. ذكره تقي الدين.
