٨٩٠ - الحافظ عماد الدين أبو الفداء إسمعيل بن إبراهيم بن محمد بن جَمَاعة الكِنَاني الشافعي (٤)، المتوفى بالقدس في ذي القعدة سنة إحدى وستين وثمانمائة، عن ست وثلاثين. حفظ القرآن ورحل إلى مصر وأخذ عن ابن حجر، فشرح "الألفية" للعراقي شرحًا حسنًا و"تصريف" العزي وألفاظ "الشفا". وكان خطيبًا فصيحًا زاهدًا نحيف الجسم، خطب بالمسجد الأقصى نيابةً وولي مشيخة الخانقاه الصلاحية. ذكره صاحب "الأنس الجليل".
