٨٧٥ - الفيلسوف إسكندر الأفردوسي (٣)، كان في عصر ملوك الطوائف بعد إسكندر ورأى جالينوس وكان إمام وقته. شرح كثيرًا من كتب أرسطو. ومن مؤلفاته: "كتاب النفس"، مقالة "كتاب الرد على جالينوس في التمكن"، مقالة "كتاب الأصول العالية"، "كتاب عكس المقدمات" مقالة مسماة بـ"العناية في الفرق بين النوع والجنس" "مقالة في الكون"، "مقالة في الفصل على رأي أرسطو"، "كتاب السماع الطبيعي" المعروف بـ"سمع الكيان" ثماني مقالات، "كتاب السماء والعالم" أربع مقالات، "كتاب الكون والفساد"، "كتاب الآثار العلوية" وغير ذلك. ذكره الشهرستاني.
