٨٤٥ - الإمام أبو القاسم إسحق بن محمد بن إسمعيل بن إبراهيم بن زيد، المعروف بالحكيم السمرقندي الحنفي، القاضي (٣)، المتوفى في محرم سنة اثنتين وأربعين وثلاثمائة بسمرقند. وكان ممن يضرب به المثل في الحكمة والحلم. وقد دونت حكمته وانتشر ذكره وهو مذكور في "التعرف" (٤) من رجال الصوفية. وكان شريك الشيخ أبي منصور الماتريدي وصحبه إلى أن فرق الموت بينهما. وتولى قضاء سمرقند وحسنت سيرته ولقب بالحكيم لكثرة حكمه ومواعظه. وله كتاب "السواد الأعظم في الكلام" مختصر مشتمل على اثنتين وستين مسألة. كذا في "الجواهر المضية" وغيره.
