٧١٩ - الشيخ شهاب الدين أحمد بن موسى بن علي [المعروف] بابن الوكيل المكِّي الشافعي (٣)، المتوفى بها في صفر سنة إحدى وتسعين وسبعمائة. كان فقيهًا أديبًا سمع بمكة ورحل إلى دمشق وسمع بها ثم عاد إلى مكة وتفقه بها على الأبناسي والكرماني وابن ظهيرة والنوري، ثم رحل إلى القاهرة فأخذ عن البلقيني وغيره وأخذ النحو عن ابن معط والضياء القرشي. وصنَّف "مختصر المهمات" و"مختصر الملحة" وشرحها. وكان له حلقة اشتغال بالمسجد الحرام. ذكره السيوطي وغيره.
